Buses, being the more economical option, would run on set routes within the zone. This is an opportunity that would grab the attention of the entire world. To develop a real world testing ground for next generation, electric and autonomous vehicles. To be able to develop and test support systems in a real world environment, facing real world challenges (including inclement weather). To be clear, I am not proposing the displacement of current residents within the zone. Nor am I championing gentrification within the zone. There are certainly a million things I have not taken into consideration. Likewise, I doubt I have answers for any questions this proposal would generate.
