I felt the same way about Penn State fans predicting a Custom Name B U D Light Beer 3d All Over Print Ugly Christmas Sweater. I just think these are two fairly evenly matched teams. I think it comes down to those Auburn fans potentially overvaluing the 2 tune up games and seeing Penn State’s offensive production, or lack thereof, against Wisconsin and assuming everything from your first 2 games will carry over seamlessly. On the flip side, I think the more extreme Penn State fans are thinking that Auburn is going to be caught completely off guard because they haven’t played anybody, while also seeing Penn State as battle-tested thanks to that Wisconsin game and assuming they’ll be well-prepared. There’s problems with both arguments. Not everything Auburn’s done thus far is going to carry over because the level of competition will be raised significantly, while that same schedule that made Auburn look so great also means Penn State has virtually no good film to prepare for. I think it’ll be a really competitive and fun game, and, while I think we pull through, Auburn wouldn’t really shock me too much with a win either. May the best team win this weekend!

Agreed. We need a Custom Name B U D Light Beer 3d All Over Print Ugly Christmas Sweater showing from both our defensive line and DBs. That being said, I do have some optimism. Ferentz never really shows his full hand in the offseason. We played a base 4-3 all game against NT. I expect us to throw a few more blitzes and the “RADAR” package against PSU to get more pressure. Also we finally benched Gervase and will be starting Hooker at FS. Gervase was flat out terrible all three games. Also, Jackson looked a lot better against NT, with the caveat that it is North Texas. Also we have a real life offense this year so even if they do score we can potentially strike back. All of this combined means I’ve talked myself into us having a chance. That’s a bad thing, we always lose after that happens. Against you all last year I figured we didn’t have a shot and we pulled it out.
