I feel that if some of the odds were made public prior to the event there would have been a bit more pushback by the community that would provoke niantic to improve rather than find out when it’s halfway done and too late to effect meaningful change.As it stands the game is far too predatory and this event was a clear example. There was no information to suggest to the casual player that some of the Pokémon on the list would not appear as wild spawns.I have also noticed that a lot of the complaints about which Pokémon was missing seemed to have a bias towards water types, totodile and piplup being major offenders. Which leads me to beleive that it was an attempt to push rainy lure sales.missed out on Turtwig. 4 lures and loads of tasks and not a single one. This is the first collection challenge I haven’t completed and it’s made me think twice about the game now. I’m not saying make it easy but please don’t make it this restrictiveDo Niantic expect us to play for 3 hours a day or somethingI want to collect those medals but man I personally feel that was rediculous.

I was fortunate enough to be able to walk outside all the time, I’m in good health, fully vaccinated, and have time when I’m not working or on lunch to walk around. But this is absolutely not doable from home, there’s still a god damn pandemic happening around the globe, and it’s inconsiderate.
