When Delores spent his first night actually out with the other chickens in the Golden Girls Ugly Sweater, Golden Girls Xmas Sweater, I was anxious about how he would handle himself, as he was pretty shy. After a few false starts (and getting pushed off perches by the other chickens) he chose a walnut branch that lead to the night perches and slept on that. When Delores became a big, beautiful Golden Phoenix adult rooster, I thought the hens would probably make absolute fools of themselves trying to get his attention – and if he ignored them it would serve them right! I suppose I should have done something about the name – but Delores responded to “Delores” and appeared fine with it. (Also, my Aunt Delores would have been devastated if I changed his name.) A friend suggested calling him “Del” – which sort of made sense – but that sounded like he was lead singer in a retro 60’s band. As long as Delores didn’t mind – and let’s face it, he didn’t care – I was perfectly content to have a sweet rooster named Delores.

Best Golden Girls Ugly Sweater, Golden Girls Xmas Sweater

Schedule: We don’t have an official schedule released yet to know when the Falcons are playing each team, but we do have all the Golden Girls Ugly Sweater, Golden Girls Xmas Sweater to know who they’re playing. The Falcons will have to make it through Cam Newton’s Carolina Panthers, the previous season’s Super Bowl loser, who are recovering from major 2016 injuries (at least hopefully, lots of concussions there) and looking to get back in the playoff picture. Their division, the NFC South, is paired to play every team in the NFC North and AFC East in 2017, so they will have to rematch the Patriots & Packers from this season’s playoffs, and also play the Lions and Dolphins (fellow playoff teams from 2016).

For us it depends, if we’re hosting thanksgiving at our house then we will typically start put up the Golden Girls Ugly Sweater, Golden Girls Xmas Sweater on thanksgiving weekend, sometimes even right before after thanksgiving dinner. Since we have guests over we use that as an excuse to take advantage of the additional helping hands. Instead of asking for help in the kitchen we’ll get through decorations. Plus I think it also makes for a decent pre-dinner workout activity. If we’re not hosting thanksgiving then we’ll put up the decorations little by little with the aim to finish by December 1st. I don’t know why but I like the idea of being able to enjoy the lights all throughout December. As for when we’ll take them down, there’s no set date but we definitely keep them up past New Years and at least a few weeks into January. I think the longest we had them up was until Valentine’s Day, we had spent the entire most of January in Florida that one year.
