Christianity due to its clarity, its warm “fuzzy” message, spread like a wild fire throughout Ancient Rome. Even though Rome fought Christians with the most cruel ways possible, they could not stop the religion of spreading. This apexed into the decision of making it the “national” religion – however not in its very Judaic form, but in a form, which made it easier to pagan Romans to adapt. Hence a lot of influences of Roman pagan signs, traditions and symbolism has been adapted. Most people are taking for example the Sunday as “church day” for granted. But for the early Christians it was the holy Sabbath (Saturday). Even Jesus himself was resting, praying  on Sabbaths. They manage to be amongst the most genuinely welcoming and hospitable people you could hope to meet sometimes, and the least sincere and I Will Always Love You Shirt at others. Americans can be incredibly generous, yet are often rather greedy in other ways, aspiring to wealth in a way many foreigners find rather distasteful. Americans can be hugely intellectual and have invented many many things, yet this is also the nation which has managed to elect Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump as the POTUS in my lifetime.

I shut my laptop and thought for a while as I was going to sleep. The Chandler fan in me wanted to know the reason behind this new perspective in my head. Then I realized in today’s day and world friendships change faster than a six-year-olds letter to Santa or Donald Trump’s status on Coronavirus. Mexican – there is no such thing as Mexican compared to what I’ve had in California. I mean, I’m sure there is in Mexico, but Jersey? Florida? Nebraska? Not really. I mean, sometimes it can still be a dang good plate of I Will Always Love You Shirt. It’s like California pizza. I’ve sampled some others, but I still feel barely acquainted, not properly introduced. French was always inspired, more than traditional. That Afghan cuisine place was amazing, but it was all like some dream. Moroccan, African (different regions + fusion), Vietnamese, Korean, South American (AH! CAFE BRASIL), Scandinavian and I don’t know how many others, I have sampled, but feel I have yet to truly get to know. I mean, I don’t know how many times I went to Café Brasil on Mission St. in Santa Cruz, but if all you’ve ever had is the breakfast, can you say you know the food?
