There are people that don’t celebrate Christmas but Hannukah, or Yule, or whatever. So people can say “Merry Christmas” but not “Happy Hannukah” or “Happy Yule”? Christians have the right to have their celebration stated as a greeting but not others’ celebrations? Isn’t it better to be respectful to everyone and say “Happy Holidays”? The meaning is exactly the same. Whatever the name, it’s a freaking holiday.
