Wonky-eye sister, almost the same story for me, except when I complained to my current optomertist he said the purpose for people with our condition was to maintain sight in the under-utilised eye in case we lost the good one. I’ve seen “lazy-eye” noted as a deal breaker on dating sites with suggestions people should have to admit it on their profile. But I have also seen people deeply in love when one of them has obvious and more disruptive disabilities. I am still frustrated when people look behind themselves to see what I’m looking at but that’s not their fault. I have learned to forget it, or rarely, as a party trick, switch vision between good and bad eye to change to whichever eyeball wants to hide in my skull. I have loved and been loved and I know some men who carry a torch for me. Nobody is bringing this up, but men start losing their hair in their 20s. I’m not talking bald, I’m talking thinning. That’s why you naturally see men get closer cropped hair as they get older. Take a look at all the interns at work– nice medium length, full, professionally appropriate hair cuts. Then take a look at the 30 year old men– short side parts, closely cropped, or clean-shaven. It’s associated with professionalism but it’s really just how men have to handle their hair after a certain point

I wasn’t even expecting something themed off my main! — but if nothing else, some variant of SpiceQueen should serve (the other two…is that a CS Lewis reference? And I love LadyPepperVisage just on an aesthetic level, but I’m almost positive there’s some kind of wordplay or cultural reference there that I’m missing, and it’s just going over my head.) I started playing around with SpiceMissFlo, MsFloSpice, etc, after seeing yours, but after a second I paused and wondered if the Dune books* even register much of a presence with women readers, or if that sort of scifi is largely a “L.S.D Let’s Slow Down and Enjoy the Ride Shrt” kind of fiction. That got me onto something that is definitely going to complicate this exercise: even if there’s nothing overly “boy-like” in how I talk, the subs I frequent and at least some of the cultural references I have (and some that I won’t!) will likely cause my experience in a conversation to differ at times from what’s “typical” for women on this site. How big a L.S.D Let’s Slow Down and Enjoy the Ride Shrt that’ll be, I couldn’t guess…another reason to give this a shot, IMHO.
