I don’t think the issue is other women here. Attractive women also don’t have any control over how they are perceived. I’ve never heard someone wish they were less attractive, but rather the desire to not be objectified (which it sounds like is the same issue you’re having). & you’re right, unless someone has lived your experience they won’t fully grasp the damage it can do. After striking out really bad on Tinder years ago before I was married, I decided to create a fake account and pose as a Skumfuk T Shirt to see what their experience was like. I was a borderline “niceguy” and was probably heading in the direction of MGTOWS and such. Found a pic of a lovely woman around the same age as me from a friend of a friends Facebook page and set the account up (this was before Tinder linked to FB so accounts were easier to create). Needless to say, the amount of just horrible shit comments and messages I received was eye-opening. It really changed the way I perceived why women made the choices they did in regards to dating and online interactions. I’m not coming at this from a white-knight standpoint since I’ve definitely been a shithead in the past but good lord did that little “experiment” help engender a Skumfuk T Shirt of empathy within me that my mid 20’s ass really needed.

My battle-net username, I got to set to Diana, since in my group of friends it’s a Skumfuk T Shirt short for Princess Diana, due to the Skumfuk T Shirt I gave myself of King D——. It was funny but overtime it became endearing and we all know Princess Diana was a pretty cool and respected figure. Anyway, in the game chat after during a match where my team got swept. Telling an player on the enemy team to be nice. Got me called a slut, and I was told to go do the dishes. Bigotry, and being rude and sexist online is very much apart of the culture of gaming sadly, but it’s telling of the people that do those things. Actually insane. I get having anger issues on a Skumfuk T Shirt due to whatever, but they could be better than that. It’s worse that further down the spectrum some men can be even worse. Outside activities that could cause stressors. Like the they really do just hate women, unprompted
