I was slow to get into season 1 for that exact reason: I didn’t think Mando was anStrong Women Don’t Have Attitudes Feminist Gift Classic T Shirt character and didn’t like that the stories all felt so episodic. When I finally returned to the show and gave it time, though, I appreciated that a lot of the “episodic” contents were actually more meaningful than I initially gave them credit for: characters and locations came back later, and by season 2, more often than not Mando and Grogu were buddied up with a small gang of others, plus there was clear progression in the core relationship with Grogu, and Mando’s personal circumstances changed over time (lost ship, new armour, new weapons). I haven’t seen season 3 yet, but I would be surprised if it felt any LESS episodic than season 1, and if it’s at least that serialized then I’ll enjoy it.

Well that’s refreshing to hear. Officiating is an issue in literally every sport. It’s all led by human beings and prone to mistakes or unfairness. The Strong Women Don’t Have Attitudes Feminist Gift Classic T Shirt is you have an entire fucking series to make things right in hockey – yes some calls will be weak, sometimes you’ll feel done wrong but eventually it doesn’t affect much in general. It’s so tiring when all that is talked about is the reffing. It helps nothing, it solves no problems. Dunno, maybe I’m being naive here but I don’t think a bunch of refs would take the risk of fixing games or leaning towards one side in a billion dollar business. I’m not even saying it is all pure or honest – even if it is not, it’s all about money and “the product”. The NHL is too big to have such scandals, nobody in the business will risk their career or integrity for peanuts when they are part of something much bigger already. No team ever wins a cup thanks to refs. As a philosopher once said… sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit. No shame in cricitizing or acknowledging the mistakes refs make but just fucking stick to playing hockey. And I swear standards are not even that bad. When you are emotionally invested, you are more biased. It’s in our nature. Despite having a soft spot for a bunch of teams in the NHL, I’m mostly a neutral observer who just loves the sport and I swear I have seen only a few calls I could say were terrible. It’s not nearly as big of a problem as some people make it to be.
