I don’t think anyone truly wants to be ugly, it’s just that both sides have their advantages. I was obese til the age of 14, and while I don’t equate fat to ugly, society and people around you certainly do. I went from being bullied to being catcalled. its funny to look back and see how women used to have pretty short hair too. For years I’ve played games as female characters, usually with neutral or feminine sounding names, and I don’t use voice chat.
